September 12, 2010

Come one! Come all and join us for our Sunday School Open House as we enter the Fall Quarter of our study of God's Word. Sunday School begins at 9:45am and is located at 8th and Diamond Recreation Center.

FALL FELLOWSHIP

October 10, 2010

The Annual Fall Fellowship will be in October this year and we invite all of our family, friends, and neighbors to join us for worship and fellowship! Morning worship service begins at 11:00am and fellowship will follow.

175TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY REVIVAL

November 17-19, 2010

We are Rebuilding! Increasing the Kingdom by Re-Building Lives for the Glory of God! Celebrate and be revived with us at our Mid-Town Revival which will be located at Mother African Zoar UMC (12th and Melon Streets).

COMMUNITY DAY

August 28, 2010

We most certainly enjoyed our second year of Community Day with our North Philadelphia neighbors. We had helpful information, resources, tools and tips, and school supplies available! Also, a new addition to our Community Day was the Dentex truck which cleaned the teeth of over a dozen children!The Benefit Bank was open and assisted one of our neighbors with applying for the rent rebate (See our Community Resources page).And to top it off, the City Citation for 175 Years was awesome and the worship service was fire-filled!

Thank you to everyone who came out and made this day possible. Mid-Town, you truly pulled together as always to make it a success. Thank you to our friends from Wayne UMC (Wayne, PA) and Paoli Presbyterian Church (Paoli, PA) for joining us!

FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT

August 27, 2010
We had a great time! Although it started with a little technical difficulties, we watched 'Facing the Giants' on the big screen (against the Church Parsonage). The transition from Fire on Friday to Family Night was awesome as we welcomed our first-time visitors to join us! This will definitely happen again soon! Look out for it in the Mid-Town News!

PRAYER BREAKFAST

Saturday morning prayer breakfast was awesome as Pastor Monte brought forth the Word of God! This fellowship was held at Bethel Community Baptist Church located at 7766 Wayne Avenue, Upper Darby, PA and we had a great time fellowshipping.

CHOIR CONCERT

June 13, 2010

Please join us for our choir concert on this Sunday afternoon at 3pm as we celebrate Jesus Christ and sing to our community! Our choir day will be held outdoors at 8th and Diamond Recreation Center. We look forward to worshipping the Lord through song!

YOUTH SUNDAY IN MAY

May 30th, 2010

It was truly awesome to see our young people step up and lead our morning worship service! The Urban Disciples (our youth group) were reading scripture, singing, and even playing instruments as we praised and worshipped our Lord and Savior! We are so proud of our youth!

Sunday Morning Worship

Sunday Mornings at 11:00 am

Bible Study

Please join us on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm as we study the Word of God and seek to apply it to our daily lives.

Sunday School

Sunday School is for all ages and it is a time for us to study the Word and allow God to speak to us through it. We always have an amazing time and invite you to join us at 9:30 on Sunday morning!

Fire on Friday Prayer Service

On the fourth Friday of every month we lift up our community in prayer from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
